The South Whidbey girls basketball team lost 49-30 Friday at King’s.

Back from a leg injury, Falcon Cayla Calderwood led all shooters with

17 points, but a balanced Knight offense kept South Whidbey in check all four quarters.

The team is 0-4 in league play, King’s is 4-2.

On Friday, Jan. 23, the girls will try their luck at Archbishop Murphy against the Wildcats (4-0, 8-2).
