South Whidbey’s boys cross country team finished fourth at the River Meadows Cascade Conference Preview on Wednesday at Granite Falls High School.

South Whidbey’s boys cross country team finished fourth at the River Meadows Cascade Conference Preview on Wednesday at Granite Falls High School.

Finishing just outside the top 10 in the 3,000-meter race was senior Justin Gonzalez (13th). Senior Collin Burns finished 17th overall, while seniors Will Simms and Cory Ackerman placed 23rd and 26th, respectively.

Cedarcrest won the meet.
