South Whidbey softball lost to Coupeville, 4-1, in its season-opener on March 12.

Falcon sophomore pitcher Mackenzee Collins finished with a game-high 17 strikeouts. The Falcons’ home game against Port Townsend scheduled for Monday, March 14, was postponed. South Whidbey plays Granite Falls on the road, Thursday, March 17. The team play its first home game on Monday, March 21 against Cedarcrest. First pitch is at 4 p.m.
