Falcon boys hoops narrowly defeat La Conner in tightly contested matchup

South Whidbey boys basketball managed to defeat La Conner, 55-54, on Dec. 21 after trailing by nine points at halftime.

South Whidbey boys basketball managed to defeat La Conner, 55-54, on Dec. 21 after trailing by nine points at halftime. Thanks to consistent play down the stretch, the Falcons were able to outscore the Braves 30-20 in the second half. South Whidbey held La Conner to just seven points in the third quarter.

The Falcons were led in scoring by senior Chase White, who scored a game-high 26 points, while senior Donovan Miller was second with 13 points.
