Falcon girls basketball team starts season 1-1, beat Clallam Bay

South Whidbey girls basketball lost its season-opening game on Friday night but rebounded with a victory the next day.

The Falcons (1-1) lost to Wilson 74-39 at home on Dec. 1. Wilson is a class 3A team that plays in the Pierce County League.

South Whidbey beat class 2B school Clallam Bay 59-42 in a road game on Dec. 2.

The Falcons began a stretch of three home games on Tuesday night against Archbishop Murphy; the game was played after The Record’s deadline on Tuesday.

South Whidbey hosts Cedarcrest on Friday, Dec. 8, and Coupeville on Saturday, Dec. 9. Both games start at 5 p.m.
