The South Whidbey High School boys golf team placed sixth at the sixth annual Par 3 Shootout at the Battle Creek Golf Course Wednesday, March 28.

Arlington won the par-54, 18-hole match with a 301, followed by Monroe (305), Mount Vernon (312), Jackson (316), host Lake Stevens (349) and South Whidbey (365).

The Falcons’ Ryan Wenzek posted the third best individual score with a 57. Arlington’s Cody Oakes took medalist honors with a 54.

Gabe Jacobson-Ross (59), Kellen Eager (77), Soren Bratrude (82) and Noah Ratcliff (90) also competed for South Whidbey.

The Falcons play in the Everett Invitational at noon Thursday, March 29, at the Legion Golf Course.
