Falcons pick up 5 medals / Wrestling

Five South Whidbey High School wrestlers placed at the Gus Compton-Mount Baker Invitational Thursday, Dec. 20, in Deming.

Drew Aposhyan (126 pounds), Aiden Coleman (182) and Clay O’Brien (195) all finished fourth, while Caleb McArthur (138) and Dylan Davis (285) took sixth.

As a team, the Falcons were 11th out of 16 with 64 points. Forks won with 209.5.

South Whidbey doesn’t compete again until the Sky Valley Invitational at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, in Sultan.
