The Falcons scored in the first inning when Alex Black led off with a single, was bunted up by Drew Fry and scored on Kody Newman’s base hit.

South Whidbey did not have another base runner until the fifth inning when it loaded the bases with one out only to have the rally snuffed by a double play.

The Falcons recovered to score twice in the sixth inning.

With two outs, consecutive hits by Newman, Brent Batchelor and Bartel resulted in two runs.

Nick Black and Luke Rookstool also had base hits in the game for the Falcons.
