Falcons win conference match / Boys golf

The South Whidbey High School boys golf team earned its second Cascade Conference win in two matches by defeating King’s 243-255 Thursday, April 19, at the Jackson Park Golf Course.

Falcons Ryan Wenzek and Gabe Jacobson-Ross finished tied for second, two shots behind the Knights’ Grayson Giboney, with seven-over 43s.

Brent DeWolf and Soren Bratrude both shot 48 for South Whidbey, Blake Chinnery came in at 54, Dane Saxton at 61 and Kellen Eager at 65.

South Whidbey plays Sultan and Cedarcrest at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at the Useless Bay Golf and Country Club.
