Girls hoops fall in postseason tourney

South Whidbey girls basketball was eliminated from the 1A District 1 tournament following two losses.

The Falcons dropped their opening game to Nooksack Valley 57-34 on Feb. 5. They were eliminated by Meridian 56-21 in a loser-out, elimination game on Feb. 8.

South Whidbey finished 7-15 overall.
