Girls soccer clinches second seed in district tournament

South Whidbey girls soccer beat Sultan 3-0 on Saturday, Oct. 14 and will likely host the first round of the class 1A District tournament next week.

The win clinches the second seed in the district tournament. The Falcons (5-9-1 overall, 3-7-1 in the Cascade Conference) will play the third-seeded team from the Northwest Conference’s 1A division on Oct. 23 at home.

The Falcons host Cedarcrest on senior night at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19.
