Langley Middle School’s girls soccer team won its season finale Thursday 8-3 over Sultan.
Playing at South Whidbey High School, the Lady Cougars rolled after an early goal by Emma Leggett. Other scorers included Caitlyn Jonsson, Farriss Jokinen, Maddy Drye, Karyna Hezel, Ashley Ricketts and Sophie Hamer.
The Cougars finished their season 6-2.
South Whidbey’s baseball team has a 7-3 record and ranked ninth in the WIAA’s RPI 1A baseball poll.
Karyle Kramer, the girls head coach since 2012, plans to retire along with her assistant coaches.
