Ashley Lynch of South Whidbey High School clocked the third-best time in the 100-yard freestyle when Kamiak hosted Lynnwood and Meadowdale in a three-team swim meet Thursday, Oct. 3.

Lynch swam the 100 free in 1:01.66.

Parker Forsyth (1:23.05), Lynch (1:25.05) and Katie Zundel (1:31.31) were 4-5-7 in the 100 breaststroke.

Forsyth added a fifth in the 500 free (6:30.81), while Zundel was ninth in the 200 free (2:30.18).

Abigail Ireland took fifth in the 100 butterfly (1:22.85) and seventh in the 100 free (1:07.96).

Zundel’s sister, Sarah, was ninth in the 100 fly (1:26.38) and 14th in the 200 free (2:50.49), while Devin King was 17th in the 100 free (1:17.84) and 19th in the 50 free (34.98).

The Zundels, Ireland and Forsyth swam to fourth in the 400 free relay (4:48.24), and Lynch, Forsyth, Ireland and King took sixth in the 200 medley relay.

Kamiak entertains Mariner, Monroe and Cascade at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10.
