The Falcons took down the Wolverines in their own Tip-Off Classic tournament for a 33-22 victory in the San Juan Islands.

Nearly all of Friday Harbor’s points came from one player, Madie Kincaid, who scored 16 of the Wolverines’ 22 points.

Playing for the tournament title, South Whidbey fell to Salem Academy (Salem, Ore.) 60-21 Saturday.

South Whidbey plays its first Cascade Conference game Wednesday at Sultan, a crucial contest for playoff position. Sultan dropped to 1A in its size classification and will vie for one of three District 1 tournament berths with South Whidbey, King’s and Cedar Park Christian.

On Friday, South Whidbey hosts a doubleheader for its boys and girls teams against Cedar Park, starting with the girls game at 5 p.m.
