We Whidbey Islanders owe a huge round of kudos to Granite Construction (the engineers and all the workers and employees), as well as to AABCO Barricades & Signs (their supervisors, workers and flaggers) and to the state Department of Transporation (engineers, supervisors and inspectors ) for the fantastic re-paving job that they all worked on from May-September.

The re-paving work that they did on Highway 525 from Clinton to Race Road, and on various stretches of Highway 20 from south of Coupeville to north of Penn Cove, deserves a 10-out-of-10 and five stars on top of that.

Rather than doing just a ”basic” chip seal fix, they provided us with a first-class re-paving!

Again, kudos and tusen takk to all the guys n’ gals who made it happen.
