Spring is fast approaching, and nowhere is it more evident than at the beautiful Meerkerk Gardens. you will find some rhododendrons in bloom, others with swollen buds ready to pop.

Helebores and primroses are blooming and the daffodils are more than just poking up. It is a happy place with easy to moderate walking trails.

Open daily, weather permitting from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Meerkerk Gardens is a place to take your family and dogs — on a leash —for a most pleasant day.

Please note that our nursery’s opening weekend is March 13-14. There are lots of unusual rhododendrons for sale that are not found in other nurseries on the island.
