I cannot agree enough with M. Diane Carr’s letter regarding clearcutting on Whidbey Island.

As we drive from Zylstra Road area, Fort Nugent Road all the way to Deception Pass, we are saddened and angry to see all the beautiful trees and landscape of Oak Harbor being destroyed.

What convinced us to make Oak Harbor our home 22 years ago is quickly becoming far too many buildings and far too few trees and wildlife.

As M. Diane Carr stated, “enough is enough.”
