For the past year and a half, I have enjoyed my Hilltop neighborhood in Clinton and delighted in the local herd of deer.

They often camped out on my lawn, enjoyed fruit from my apple tree, and I have even witnessed the birth of a fawn.

I usually see at least one or two a day and sometimes a dozen.

However, for the past two weeks not a single deer has shown up in my yard.

Does anyone know what happened?
