In a letter to the editor, Nancy Mayer wrote in her closing paragraph, “We, at last, have a sane, competent, knowledgeable president in Biden.”

I personally take issue with using those descriptive words to describe the current POTUS.

I don’t believe we should all “thank our lucky stars he [Biden] is there and working for us.” He’s there working for whatever lobbying group pays the most for his attention.

As far as “good” he has done in such a short time, look at the far worse he has done since taking office.

I pray our country gets past these next four years with our dignity intact, both within and in the eyes of our international watchers.
