Letter: I’m not that Patricia, we only share a first name

I would like to inform the community that the Whidbey News Group reporter Patricia Guthrie, who works for Sound Publishing’s South Whidbey Record and Whidbey News-Times, is not me.

My name is Patricia Duff and I once worked as the arts reporter for the South Whidbey Record.

I left the Record in 2011. It’s been eight years since I worked for the Record.

The only resemblance I have to the current reporter for whom I am continually mistaken is my first name.

I’d like to make a gentle request to my community to please stop mistaking me as a current reporter for the South Whidbey Record. I am not that Patricia.

Thanks so much.

Patricia Duff
