Letter: Island fortunate to have great care available

Editor,

I’ve never had a reason to use WhidbeyHealth hospital, Coupeville’s Regency skilled nursing services or WhidbeyHealth Hospice, but now I have.

I’m thankful our beautiful island has such nice facilities. I’m more thankful that the personnel at all these places were competent, kind, professional, sweet, gentle and thoughtful.

The care provided by all three was uniformly excellent in all respects. What special people we islanders are fortunate to have available.
