Letter: Make changes to prevent future horrific accidents

Editor,

It is time for our road department to paint stripes or install bumps on roads with hard-to-see stop signs.

When traveling on Deer Lake Road, the road appears to continue where it approaches Cultus Bay Road, which in fact it does, but there is a stop sign that often is not seen.

There have been several accidents in that area, and alerting drivers, especially those unfamiliar with the road, may help prevent such situations. It seems like a simple, helpful aid to prevent more accidents.
