Letter: Navy, country need place for Growlers to practice

Editor,

As a retired master chief who served at Whidbey Island, both in seaplanes and P-3s at Ault Field, I remember them both being too loud and a hazard to the local community.

Must not of been too bad, the community has grown and stayed there. The Navy and your country needs Growlers and a place for them to practice.

Come on, get out of your personal purse and think of the country’s needs first.
