Letter: Neighbors helping neighbors in the Coupeville way


Last Monday, our neighbors across the street, Rob and Traci York, were going over to Costco in Burlington. They called and asked if there was anything we needed.

After some hesitation, we did ask them to pick up a few items.

While at the warehouse ,they called and asked if we were the ones who wanted the Oatmeal. It turned out that they were shopping for four other neighbors and friends.

That’s the kind of neighbors we have in Coupeville, unlike some parts of the country were neighbors think they need more guns to protect themselves from their neighbors.
