Letter: Place sculpture where it belongs — Los Angeles

Editor,

The “Angel de la Creatividad, “sculpted by a world-renowned artist, deserves to be and belongs where it will get the most exposure and appreciation.

That would not be in a military town on the far north end of an island in the Pacific Northwest.

CARES Act money paid for the $15,000 Zencity public opinion report that showed the people on social media overwhelmingly oppose the sculpture 737 to 139. Oak Harbor City Council, please listen to this majority of people.

The most appropriate setting for the Angel de la Creatividad is in the City of Angels — Los Angeles, Calif. — where it could be seen and appreciated by thousands of people every day.
