Letter: Post physical location, for everyone’s safety, health

Editor,

I wanted to share a harrowing experience I had this week and encourage changes to prevent it from happening in the future.

I was at a community function, at a public facility, when a person in attendance had a medical issue.

When we tried to contact ICOM for a response, they insisted on needing an address.

The problem is, no one knew our address, and this is true at most public locations, including churches, restaurants, stores, etc.

It would be great for public safety if everyone could take a few minutes and post their physical address on a sign or signs on the inside of the building, where it can easily be seen.

This may save someone’s life, maybe even your own.
