From reading recent issues, it appears that the Democrats in our community are more prolific letter-writers than their Republican counterparts. Thus, it may seem to some that Rick Hannold has minimum support. Not True.

Rick Hannold has been a steady voice of reason on the county commission. He does his research and makes thoughtful decisions. Being human, his opinions don’t agree with everyone on all issues all the time.

In the best interest of Island County, fiscal and otherwise, this man should be re-elected.
