Thank you to Patricia Guthrie for her coverage in the South Whidbey Record of the upcoming concert “Let Justice Roll Down,” to be given this Sunday Sept 30, at 4 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Timely because of the recent workshops and ongoing conversations educating ourselves about white supremacy and privilege in our community, this concert will address the issue from inside white dominant Christian churches in America.

I want to mention the churches that are co-sponsoring our event and publicly offer grateful thanks in advance of the concert Sunday. These are St. Hubert Catholic Church, Langley United Methodist Church, the Episcopal Peace Fellowship and parish of St. Augustine’s-in-the-woods Episcopal Church, the Justice Awareness and Advocacy Group from Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Whidbey Island, the Whidbey Island Friends Meeting (Quakers) and Trinity Lutheran Church.
