To the editor:

On behalf of the board members of WISH, and myself I would like to thank Island Angel Chocolate owners Mona and Tony Newbauer for supporting WISH at the Concerts in the Lane fundraiser.

Your generous gift of the proceeds from the fudge sale, the wonderful venue and advertising support kicked off our fall fundraiser with optimism and hope. We greatly appreciate your innovative vision of community networking and support! It is our joy and privilege to work with business owners like you who are so eager to reach out and help one another.

WISH would also like to thank Ed Newkirk and Chas Glass for donating their time and musical talent, making this first annual Summer Fundraiser a memorable experience for all.

With your involvement and support, WISH will continue to live out its mission of providing affordable housing options on Whidbey Island. Your generosity contributes greatly to the success of our program by heightening the awareness of our presence and our desire to help our neighbors.
