To the editor:
It was pointed our by members of Puget Sound Energy at the Clinton meeting that their electrical rates were set by the pubic power commission.
The overhead of the company is considered when these rates are set. With the executive officers’ compensation of $55,4654,758 coming up, upon completion of the Puget Sound Energy sale to Macquarie as part of the future overhead, our customer electrical rates are sure to go up more.
How they can figure this amount of compensation for management that has been so poor that our electrical rates are nearly the highest in the state, is beyond me. I’m voting YES for PUD this November.
