To the editor:

While all three valid candidates are offering their volunteer services as port commissioners, I am endorsing Chris Jerome as the replacement commissioner for District 2 being vacated by Rolf Seitle, who did a wonderful job while in office.

Chris brings not only an impressive background in the professional world, but a very strong entrepreneurial aspect, having done some very strong start-up companies on his own.

He’s young, articulate, aggressive, an avid boater, a visionary and worthy of distinction.

I refer you to his Web site at www.chrisjerome4psw.com to review his credentials and his vision for the future of the Port of South Whidbey.

And then I beg you all in the Langley district to vote for Chris in the upcoming primary, so he may advance to the November election.

We need Chris Jerome as our next port commissioner.
