To the editor:
Do you yearn for some light-hearted fun? Treat yourself to “Thoroughly Modern Millie” – a collaboration between South Whidbey High School and Whidbey Children’s Theater. The students really get into their roles, hamming it up to the cheering delight of the audience. Singing, tap-dancing, drama, great costumes from the ’20s, even some acrobatics and a Chinese language lesson…it is a kick!
I guarantee you’ll leave with a smile on your face and a new appreciation of the enormous talent the directors were able to showcase. Vote for more of this wonderful fun with your attendance. (It’s been five years since the last large-scale musical production at SWHS.)
