The Whidbey News-Times Opinion piece entitled “Oak Harbor pro-Trump rally during Capitol siege poorly timed” strikes me as written by someone with their head in the sand.

Where’s the opinion article following Antifa’s violent riots continually in our Pacific Northwest region?

You state Republicans as proclaiming to be the “law-and-order party” in order to point out their hypocrisy. What about yours?

I agree that violence should not be allowed to occur in our area or any area for that matter. As someone who writes many opinion articles, how about you stop with the hypocrisy.

I am not labeled as Republican, Libertarian or Democrat … simply American.
