Letter: Writer’s comments ‘in direct contradiction’ of summation

Letter to the Editor

Editor,

I am writing this in response to Tim Economu’s letter to the editor of Sept. 11 taking issue with a previous letter written by Ed Meyer.

Economu’s second paragraph asked the question: “Do you realize who is in charge, and who has fanned the flames of hatred and bigotry in this country?”

The better question to ask, “Why do Democrats continue to light the flames of hatred and bigotry in this country? Look at the history of the Democratic party; they’ve tried for decades to destroy this nation, starting in the 19th century.”

Again, Mr. Economu is confused with the world we live in … there is one race … the human race. Everyone should treat one another with dignity and respect, period.

Mr. Economu states that President Trump is a person who hates immigration, the military and our planet.

I submit that the facts are in direct contradiction to his summation.

I cannot even fathom what planet he lives on. His world view is one of great controversy, the planet where trees are put ahead of human lives, illegal immigrants get more privileges than legal citizens, stand in opposition to any public patriotic demonstration, etc.

All this is the Democratic world view.
