Thankful for Burnett’s commitment to H&H

Editor,

On behalf of the South Whidbey Hearts and Hammers board, this is a belated “Thank You” to Justin Burnett for his dedication to our community over the years he served as editor at the South Whidbey Record.

Justin was a great ally for our “Neighbors helping neighbors” work. Not only content to send a reporter to cover our annual Hearts and Hammers work day, he also rolled up his sleeves and volunteered himself, giving his time and gaining first-hand experience of the Hearts and Hammers mojo.

Through this work, we all learn the joy of helping others and gain the peace of mind that comes with knowing that we are surrounded by neighbors who care.

Justin’s coverage reflected this deep connection to the community. He will be missed!

To Justin — Mahalo Nui Loa. Many thanks.

Linda Irvine and the Board of Hearts and Hammers
