Trump, go ahead and play golf but resign first

Editor,

Here we go again. Donald J. Trump just wants to play golf. Great, so go play golf, but first resign the presidency and turn it over to someone who has a modicum of interest in the job. Trump is getting older, maybe he wants or feels he deserves to retire. No one will fault him for that, but for once do the right thing! We won’t miss your competence (or lack there of), your philosophy (or lack there of), your wasteful spending and tweets, no lacks there and no missing them either.

Trump did win the election, proved he could, even if the Russians helped. Now give the country back to the Americans who do care, so Puerto Rico can finally get much needed relief as well as the rest of us.

Sincerely,

NANCY MAYER
