The gallery may be gone but the artists of the Whidbey Art Gallery, formerly the Whidbey Artists’ Cooperative, haven’t let that stop them.

“Art at the Farm” is one of two more exhibits the decades-old group will hold in the main barn at Greenbank Farm. The next one is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday,

July 17 through Sunday, July 19.

View work of about 12 of the 30 artists who until recently made their gallery home on the corner of Anthes Avenue and Second Street in Langley.

Established in 1992, the Whidbey Art Gallery was one of Whidbey Island’s oldest galleries when it closed in December 2008.

Now showing work mainly through the Web site and various exhibits, the cooperative hopes to open a brick-and-mortar presence again in the future.

Artists of Whidbey Art Gallery (.com) become members through an interview and jury process. Shows span the artistic measure from traditional to experimental and include paintings, photography, ceramics and raku, woven and fiber items, and jewelry.

Visitors can also browse the three permanent art galleries at Greenbank Farm, which include Raven Rocks Gallery & Gifts, ArtWorks Gallery and the Rob Schouten Gallery.
