“It’s carnival time (and rummage too) at The Learning Park’s annual family event Saturday, May 27, on Windfall Road in Clinton.Kids of all ages can ride a pony, pan for gold, and have their faces painted in bright designs. There will be cakewalk fun, games to play and a chance to make tortillas. The children can experience the space tunnel, and the intriguing bugs in the bottle.Many arts and crafts activities will allow the kids to express their creative sides, and Des Rock offers lunch too good to miss.Hours are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Windfall Road is off Campbell Road, near Cultus Bay Road. The Learning Park is a nonprofit research center whose purpose is to strengthen vision and body coordination by using special equipment in the body room.
