The Clinton Library will close later this week for an internal makeover.
Library staff said the facility will shut down from 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11 through Thursday, Aug. 18 so a work crew can paint the interior, install new carpeting and add more floor plugs for laptop users. The library will reopen at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19.
Holds for Clinton-area readers may be picked up at the Langley Library during the closure.
The book drop at the Clinton Library will also not be open for returns; customers may return materials to another library or keep them until the Clinton Library reopens.
Debby Colfer, Clinton Library branch manager, said the remodel was generously funded by donations from community members and the Friends of the Clinton Library. The library improvements are also part of Sno-Isle Libraries’ Strategic Plan to create comfortable facilities and access to technology that reflect the diverse needs of the community.
