Sue Williams, Booster Club member, said the recipes contributed by South Whidbey residents are outstanding and the books make a great Christmas gift for family and friends.The Booster Club basically wants to build school and community spirit and hopefully provide a few extras for our kids in athletics, Williams said. Cookbook sales help fulfill specific grant requests from coaches, fund the summer fitness program, support the teams competing in state competitions, and provide scholarships to two graduating seniors.Cookbook recipe contributors ranged from students, teachers and administrators at all four schools to parents, grandparents, friends and neighbors. There will even be some samples to taste at Saturday’s event at Casey’s. “
