All proceeds from the event will be sent to a relief fund for the victims of the attacks in New York and Washington D.C. Service responds to tragedyRev. Barbara Davenport from the Skagit Unitarian Universalist congregation will offer a special service, Tragedy: Responding from the Heart at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Whidbey Island on Sunday, Sept. 16, meeting at 4 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland. The service will acknowledge and affirm those who have been lost and those who have survived the terrorist attacks in New York, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. Participants may share their emotions, thoughts and prayers in the light of these historic events. All are welcome.
