Shannon Brown drove home the final two with a solid double she accomplished by reaching up to swat a high one.Val Mock pitched a scoreless game for the Falcons, giving up only two hits.The win helped South Whidbey in the standings and set up a big home game next Tuesday against Mount Baker. The two teams, plus Lakewood, are tied for third position in the North Cascades league with identical 8-5 records.Christian said it’s important to beat Mt. Baker Tuesday if the Falcons hope to finish third or, at worst, fourth. Either position would allow the Falcons to start the playoffs with a home game.Next Tuesday’s game will begin at 4:30. The regular season ends Thursday with a home game against Blaine. “
