The Island County Planning Commission will hold a workshop on critical areas and fish and wildlife habitat at 2 p.m. March 28 in the Island County Board of Commissioners Hearing Room in Coupeville.

The planning commission will review the draft Needs Assessment and Gaps Analysis report, which was developed for the critical areas ordinance update in accordance with Growth Management Act requirements.

The commission will also continue a hearing from a March 14 meeting on proposed changes to the adopted Fish and Wildlife Conservation Areas regulations to address a Growth Management Hearings Board order.
