Though playing as a reserve, she scored in double figures in the team’s first game this season, in addition to making five rebounds and two steals. Central is ranked second in its division. The team competes at the NCAA Division II level.Playing for his Southern California college, Moote traveled to Philadelphia this month to play in La Verne’s season-opening tournament.
