A fundraiser dinner to support the work of Northwest Language & Cultural Center is 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 at Coupeville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.

The center’s mission is to raise intercultural understanding and cultural competency in order to create peaceful communities.

There will be antipasti from Ciao, live music and a presentation on the Global Cultures Experience Project that the center brings to Whidbey’s public schools.
