“Graham Kerr, the famous Galloping Gourmet, is special guest at the spring brunch fund-raiser for the South Whidbey Youth Center.Graham Kerr, internationally known culinary and television personality and author, will be the guest speaker at the second annual Spring Brunch to benefit the South Whidbey Youth Center.The event will take place on Saturday, May 6, 12:30 p.m. at Thomas Berry Hall on the Chinook lands in Clinton.Kerr is remembered by many for his television series, The Galloping Gourmet, and his cookbooks, which feature low fat, healthy meals, are at least as popular. They will be available for sale at the brunch.Local chef, Shirlee Read, whose cooking school Kitchen Door was recently featured in the food section of the Post Intelligencer, is planning the menu for the event.Space is limited.
