“The South Whidbey girls cross country team opened its season with two early meets, and were impressive enough that the state coaches’ poll ranks them number five among all AA schools. At the Shoreline Invitational, the Falcon girls met the best 4A runners in the Northwest and finished tops among 2A schools their own size.
