Head-on injures Greenbank woman

A Greenbank woman was badly injured and her pet poodle killed when she collided head-on with another car on Smugglers Cove Road Wednesday.

A 1986 Ford Econoline van driven by Kent Liston, 46, also of Greenbank, was traveling toward her car in the southbound land. Liston attempted to swerve away from Jacobson’s car, but the two cars struck head-on.Jacobson was treated at the scene for a fractured leg and a fractured neck. She was later airlifted to Harborview Medical Center. Her pet poodle, which was in her 1991 Chevrolet Lumina van with her, was killed in the crash. Liston was treated for a cut finger. He was not transported to the hospital. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. Both vehicles were listed as total losses. “
