Help obtaining health care insurance is coming to Freeland.

Whidbey insurance brokers will offer free in-person, walk-in signup assistance for insurance under the Affordable Care Act at 12:30-3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Freeland Library.

The open enrollment period ends Dec. 15 and coverage begins in January.

Those who cannot attend during that time may make an appointment with Jennifer Potter of Seniors Insurance Services at 360-331-4560 or Naomi Demartini of Johnson Insurance at 360-341-1848. Both are registered brokers and trained to recommend appropriate plans and to help people apply.
