Island Beach Access meeting set for Feb. 27

Interested in learning more about beach access rights?

Island Beach Access will be holding a meeting open to community members from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27 in the Freeland Library’s conference room.

The organization will discuss preserving private and public beach access, and what that means for everyone.

Other topics slated for discussion include a brief history of IBA and its goals, a presentation on ownership of tidelands, accessibility pathways and a progress report on signage on South Whidbey.
